nutraMetrix

Pharmaceutical grade supplements that are isotonic for maximal absorption

Do you wonder if you are getting enough of the nutrients your body needs?

Do you find yourself LOST when it comes to choosing a supplement brand?

I've been there. Both personally and professionally.

I've spend time and money on courses, trying different products, reading reviews, and analyzing research articles.

All in an effort to provide comprehensive care for my clients. And balance out my own nutrition. To find out what is essential, and to learn how nutrition relates to overall wellness, and more specifically to certain health conditions.

This process is what led me to nutraMetrix.

HERE'S WHAT I LOVE:

1) High quality ingredients without any fillers or binders.

2) Isotonic form offers better absorption and less stomach upset.

3) Tasty drinks feel like a treat and make me more likely to take.

4) Easy single-serve packets that make it easy to take on the go!

Most everyone has heard of multivitamins, B-complex, and calcium; but what is OPC-3? OPC-3 is one of the most powerful antioxidants on the market today. OPC-3 is made from a combination of bilberry, grape seed, red wine, pine bark, and citrus extract bioflavonoids.

Vitamin D3 is the metabolically active form of vitamin D. Vitamin D is actually produced by your body when it is exposed to sunlight. You can also get it from eating foods that contain vitamin D. Multiple studies have shown that a large percentage of people are vitamin D deficient. There are various reasons for this, a few of which include reduced sun exposure in certain locations, sunscreens and coverings to reduce risk of skin cancer, and inadequate dietary supply.

Vitamin D3 plays an important role in bone health, heart health and immune support, while working with vitamin K2 to support normal absorption of calcium and promote healthy arteries. Vitamin K2 differs from vitamin K1 in chemical structure. Vitamin K1 is primarily retained in the liver and can interfere with the action of anticoagulant or blood-thinner medications at high doses. Vitamin K2 is transported primarily to the bones and blood vessels.

Magnesium is the 4th most abundant mineral in the body and supports more than 300 enzyme systems. It is required for energy, regulation of body temperature, nerve function, adaptation to stress, metabolism, normal protein synthesis, and much more. The "recommended daily value" of magnesium for adults is 400 mg. However, average daily intakes are much less. A study in the Journal of Nutrition found that most adults in the U.S. were only receiving 290 mg of magnesium per day. The study showed that levels were particularly low among women.

Inadequate magnesium has been linked to poor concentration, reduced memory and cognitive function, and muscle discomfort. Sleep quality is associated with magnesium levels and low magnesium may contribute to poor sleep. Magnesium also works closely with calcium, vitamin D3, vitamin K2, and other nutrients to support bone health. It is essential for bone building, but often gets overshadowed by calcium & vitamin D; in reality, they all work as a team.

If you are someone that already is focused on health and nutrition and is already getting most of their essential nutrients from food, you may not feel that a multivitamin or other supplements are right for you. In that case, you may consider ONLY adding OPC-3 to give your health a boost in specific areas or speed recovery from an injury, illness, or health setback.

OPC-3 is made from a combination of bilberry, grape seed, red wine, pine bark, and citrus extract bioflavonoids.

OPC-3 contains the only isotonic form of Pycnogenol® in the world. Pycnogenol is a natural plant extract from the bark of the French maritime pine tree and the most clinically researched and potent bioflavonoid currently known.

Stress is not a concept that I need to describe to you. You likely have stress from your job, your family, your social interactions, just the day-to-day of modern life. Stress is a normal biological function. Meant to get our body through brief periods of danger with a little "boost" of energy and strength. Enough to get us back to a place of safety. The problem sets in when stress becomes constant and we end up living in a perpetual state of "stress" and elevated stress hormones such as cortisol. This can result in adrenal fatigue, reduced thyroid function, blood sugar imbalance and increased accumulation of abdominal fat.

This stress cycle contributes to low energy, fatigue, increased appetite, and reduced metabolism. For some people this contributes to difficulty with weight retention or weight gain. If you have been doing "all the right things" with your diet and exercise but are still holding on to excess weight, particularly around your middle, you may benefit from ACTS to help return things to a state of balance. For other people this cycle contributes to a constant feeling of low energy throughout the day or a feeling of "stress" or "anxiety" immediately upon waking. If this sounds like you, even if you do not have any issues with your weight, you may benefit from ACTS as well.

When it comes to persistent lifestyle stress, it is also essential to incorporate some sort of mindfulness, therapy, or downtime into your routine. This helps to ensure long-term success and overall wellness beyond the short-term symptom relief.

Omega-3 Fatty Acids are another common supplement that many people take. Research supports the importance of Omega-3s for heart health, blood pressure, cholesterol, brain function, arthritis, fibromyalgia, migraines, decreasing inflammation, and reduction of menopausal symptoms.

The 3 most important Omega-3 fatty acids are ALA, DHA, and EPA. ALA is found mainly in plants and DHA & EPA are found mainly in fish, seafood, and marine algae. Most people get sufficient ALA in their diet but not sufficient DHA or EPA. Your body has the ability to convert some of the ALA to DHA and EPA but it is limited, so most people don't make enough. Women are better able to convert ALA to DHA and EPA than men because of estrogen levels. This may have indications for post-menopausal women.

The fish oil in Heart Health Essential Omega III with Vitamin E is made from small fish that are known to accumulate less toxins. Each batch is tested twice for mercury, lead, PCBs, and other heavy metals. Only oil that meets of exceeds standards set by Canada (CFIA), the European Union (EU) and the United States (CRN) is used. Vitamin E is added for its antioxidant effects to protect DHA & EPA from breaking down.

You may be wondering why sexual wellness is relevant here. Well, believe it or not this comes up a LOT in conversations with my clients. It may not be the reason they are coming to see me initially. It may not be one of their primary concerns. But it comes up as an issue just the same.

Sexual health is a big part of overall wellness and quality of life. For both men and women. Sexual desire or libido is complex and is influenced by personal circumstances, hormones, social expectations, physiology, diet, sleep, self-esteem, daily demands, past experiences, and time of life. In addition to all of that, circulation and blood flow to genitals are factors that can affect libido.

This product combines botanicals that have been shown in the research to increase desire, arousal, and improve blood flow to the genitals for both men and women. Fenugreek supports precursors to estrogen and testosterone and has been shown to increase sexual arousal. Red ginseng supports physical and mental health and has been shown to improve blood vessel dilation. Tribulus terrestris has been shown to improve sexual desire in both men and women, in addition to helping to regulate blood sugar. Pycnogenol (pine bark extract) has a wide variety of health benefits, one of which is to promote dilation of blood vessels, which can improve blood flow in the body (including the genitals).

This revolutionary product may just be the little boost that you need to optimize your sexual wellness! Because many of its benefits come from improving blood flow, it should be taken daily for 4-6 weeks to see maximum benefit. Sort of like eating fruits and vegetables daily, not just the day before your physician orders blood work!

Why Supplements?

Because true WELLNESS is so much more than exercise, diet, sleep, mindfulness, or medication. Through years of experience and education I have learned that nutrient insufficiency is more common than most people think, is rarely addressed, and is a contributing factor to many physical problems.

The people that I work with are searching everyday for a higher quality of life and better approaches to wellness. Most people that I work with have tried MANY other things to feel better. There is a lot of information out there. And it can get confusing and overwhelming.

Fast-paced lifestyles can lead to an array of poor dietary choices, lack of sleep, and chronic stress. The bottom line is that it doesn't matter what you are looking to heal or improve; if you don't provide your body with the basic building blocks, your progress will be limited. These building blocks include sleep, physical activity, positive relationships, self-care, intuitive living, and nutrition.

A lack of nutrients can contribute to multiple health conditions and impact repair and recovery. While food is your best source of nutrients and an important goal to work towards, the definition of food (and what it contains) is pretty loose in today's world. Only YOU know what your eating habits are and what is realistic for your situation. There may be times when you could use a little boost. That is where supplementation comes in.

Supplementation, no matter how great the product, will never be a substitute for a nutritious and varied diet that focuses on REAL foods. The word supplement means to "add to", not to "replace". This is why I recommend a comprehensive Lifestyle Review and Wellness Plan. Because supplements alone aren't the solution, just like Physical Therapy alone is not the solution. But I know that isn't always in the cards for everyone, which is why I provide these general recommendations for those that choose to work on their own.

*Remember, you should always consult your primary care provider before beginning any new supplement. This is especially true if you are taking medications or other supplements because there can be harmful interactions that you may not be aware of.

If you do choose supplementation, the benefit that you receive is only as good as the product you choose and how regularly you take it. The reason that I carry nutraMetrix® products as an Independent Healthcare Provider is because I trust their ingredients. Their products taste delicious and minimize stomach upset, which helps to keep people taking them regularly. After investigating and sampling many brands, this brand is what I have chosen for myself and my family.

Formulated using only the most advanced and scientifically proven ingredients, nutraMetrix® products offer the fastest and most efficient delivery system of all nutraceutical supplements. This is because they are ISOTONIC. You may remember this term from high school chemistry class. Essentially this means that the body has to do less work for maximum absorption.

The isotonic delivery system is a powder that you mix with water into a drink form. This not only improves your body's ability to absorb the nutrients and put them to use, but also reduces the stomach upset that sometimes accompanies other tablet and capsule supplements.

These products are completely free of binders and fillers commonly found in traditional tablet and capsule products. nutraMetrix® has you covered with quality ingredients and products you can't find anywhere else.

Let's take the guesswork out of choosing a supplement that works for you!
