The One on One Difference

Why choose to work with me?

First and foremost, I respect your time and understand that getting to physical therapy can be a PAIN! That is why I come to you. I offer customized assessment and treatment programs in the comfort of your home, workplace, gym, or other location of your choosing.

No more insurance company dictating what body parts your physical therapist can treat and what treatments will be covered. Together, you and I will come up with goals and a treatment plan that works for YOU!

My years of experience in healthcare in many different environments has taught me that there are multiple different ways to solve problems and reach goals. If one path is not working, I will not give up and I am not afraid to try another. I value your history and your insight into your own body. What I guarantee you is a partnership in realistic wellness.

Women's Health

Many women experience back pain, pelvic pain, or incontinence issues during pregnancy, after delivery, or even if they have never been pregnant. While this is common, it is not a "given" and it CAN be treated! I see so many women that joke about this as though it is to be expected. This does not have to be the case and it is something that can be helped with physical therapy!

In MANY instances these conditions can be treated 100% externally through exercises, activity changes, and lifestyle modifications. For this we can work together in person or via video consult.

Do you have back or pelvic pain related to your pregnancy?

Do you have persistent back pain after delivery (even years later)?

Do you feel that you are weaker or have less control of your core muscles following pregnancy or C-section?

Do you notice a bulge in your abdomen (or "torpedo tummy") when you sit up from a lying position or when you do abdominal exercises?

Do you experience incontinence when you sneeze, cough, laugh, or exercise? Even if you have never been pregnant?

I can help with all of these things and more. Right in the comfort and privacy of your own home.

A few of the things I can help you with:

  • Start exercising or continue to safely exercise while pregnant.
  • Be able to keep up with your kids in a game of tag or a snowball fight.
  • Improve separation of abdominal muscles (diastasis recti) or sacroiliac (SI) pain.
  • Help you to be able to cough, sneeze, laugh, or jump without fear that you are going to pee.
  • Reduce frequent headaches or backaches stemming from your positioning at work.
  • Decrease pain associated with scoliosis and possibly reduce severity of the curve itself.
  • Recovery from surgery, including: wound care, edema management, range of motion, strength, and function.
